I started my love for video production back in high school over 15 years ago. Early access to cameras, equipment, and editing software allowed me to sharpen my skills at an early age before heading off to the University of Florida where I majored in Film/Media Studies and minored in Mass Communication.
During my college years, I was blessed to work with the video staff at The University of Florida’s Football program. During my eight years there, I started as a part-time employee helping film and edit practice and later joined the staff full-time in 2012 as a video editor and content producer. Our highlights helped bring in the Nations #3 recruiting class in 2013 as well the #9 recruiting class in 2014. I continued producing highlights and social media content in that role for the next four years until I moved to New York in 2016.
In 2017, I began my career at Major League Baseball as a Production Assistant for the digital media department. I primarily produced social media clips and other long-form videos for MLB.com. In 2019, Disney acquired BAMtech, MLB.com’s parent company, our digital media department merged with the television network department at MLB Network where I transitioned into the role of Broadcast Associate. Since then, I have coordinated our social media team during game nights where we produced anywhere from 60-100 video clips a night as well as create on-air highlights for shows such as Intentional Talk, High Heat, MLB Central, and MLB Tonight. In 2020, our video department received an Emmy for our work on MLB Tonight.
